Kathmandu Valley Tour

Your trek begins with a short drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal, a small town at the edge of Shivapuri-Nagarjun National Park. From here, you start your hike through lush forests, small streams, and traditional villages. The trail gradually ascends, offering glimpses of local life and beautiful natural scenery along the way. After about 5 hours of trekking, you reach Chisapani, a peaceful hilltop village. Enjoy your first overnight stay here, surrounded by the serene environment and panoramic views of the distant Himalayas.

After breakfast, you continue your trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot, which takes around 6 hours. The trail passes through dense forests, terraced fields, and traditional villages, giving you a close look at rural life in the Kathmandu Valley. Along the way, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the Himalayas, including peaks like Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, and Dorje Lakpa. Arriving at Nagarkot, a popular hill station, you can relax and take in the stunning sunset over the mountains. Overnight stay in Nagarkot offers a chance to enjoy the crisp hill air and peaceful surroundings.

Wake up early to catch the breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas from Nagarkot. After breakfast, your trek continues toward Dhulikhel, a charming town known for its panoramic mountain views and cultural heritage. The trail passes through small villages, terraced fields, and peaceful countryside, offering a glimpse into the daily life of local communities. The hike takes approximately 5–6 hours, with moderate ascents and descents, making it suitable for most trekkers. Arrive in Dhulikhel in the afternoon and enjoy the serene environment, local culture, and stunning views of the surrounding peaks before your overnight stay.

After breakfast in Dhulikhel, your trek continues toward Namobuddha, a sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site perched on a hilltop. The trail passes through peaceful forests, terraced fields, and traditional villages, offering scenic views and a glimpse into local rural life. After exploring Namobuddha Monastery and enjoying the serene surroundings, you descend back toward Kathmandu, completing the trek. This final day is a gentle hike, perfect for reflecting on your journey while enjoying panoramic vistas of the Himalayas and the Kathmandu Valley. You return to Kathmandu in the afternoon, marking the end of your 4-day Kathmandu Valley Ridge Trek.

After breakfast, your trek concludes, and you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey home. This is the day to relax and reflect on the beautiful landscapes, Himalayan views, and cultural experiences you enjoyed during the Kathmandu Valley Ridge Trek. Safe travels!
